Ignite The Fire will be playing this year’s Ink in the Clink Tattoo and Music Festival in Mansfield, Ohio on Sunday, July 16. The three day festival (July 14, 15, 16) features national acts including In This Moment, Three Days Grace, Theory of a Deadman, Black Stone Cherry, Starset and others.
Earlier this summer, Ignite The Fire made a trip to Ohio to participate in a battle of the bands to earn a spot on the main stage at the festival.
“The reaction we received from Ohio was incredible,” said singer Jack Gurecki. “Definitely some of the most enthusiastic people we have met.”
No strangers to sharing the stage with notable national and international acts, the band is looking forward to playing alongside bands they consider some of their favorites.
“Having the opportunity to share the stage with bands we grew up listening to, and that have inspired us, such as Three Days Grace and Black Stone Cherry is truly awesome,” said drummer Caelan Gregory. “It’s also cool we get to share this opportunity with our friends in both Dread Engine and The World I Knew; both of which we participated in the battle of the bands with,” added guitarist Mark Quinn.
Ignite The Fire is set to play the main stage on Sunday, July 16, at 2:30 p.m. The festival is being held at the Ohio State Reformatory (where the movie The Shawshank Redemption was filmed) in Mansfield, OH from July 14-16. Tickets can be purchased through the festival website at https://www.inkintheclink.com/#buytickets.
“We are excited to play our music to both people who have, and those who haven’t, heard our music before,” said guitarist Michael Nelson. “Honestly, I don’t think the excitement will sink in until I’m on the stage,” added bassist Holly Smith. “Ink in the Clink is going to be an experience to remember.”
